Welcome to Sportsority
Welcome everyone to Sportsority, where sports will be a priority. Of course there will be some time for sports distractions as well. Hoping you will enjoy all of what I'll have to bring you...
Therrien fired, should have been Shero...
The Pens have done the unthinkable!
They fired Michel Therrien to try and salvage their season. Personally, I don't think it was the right decision. You fire a coach that is 135-105-32 in 272 games, and he brougt you to the Stanley Cup finals last season!
Therrien did a pretty good job with the assets that Shero gave him this season, even if he lost his two main defensemen.
May I have to remember you that Shero lost all of these players in the last year:
Not to mention that since picking Staal in the draft pick, the Penguins didn't do a very good job in the draft (mostly trading away draft picks).
Mario should have taken a stand and fire Shero for the poor work that he's done in the past 12 months.
I got a funny feeling Therrien will be back in the NHL next year and at some point he'll have a sweet revenge on the Pens.
